Heidi Svensgaard BVMS MRCVS
Hi I’m Heidi, I qualified with Honours in 1987 and worked in South Yorkshire until 1989.
I have worked in East Yorkshire ever since and started End Cottage Vets as a solo vet in 1996. Interested in lifelong care of pets, I’ve known many patients throughout their entire lives.
I keep dogs, Buck, a stray brought in to the clinic homeless in 2000 and Tyke, an Irish Terrier bred locally. With my husband Ian, we also keep sheep and poultry, are keen gardeners and we maintain the End Cottage site together.

Andrew Moll BVETMED MRCVS
I joined the End Cottage team in 2016. After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2004 I began work in mixed practice, becoming a practice partner in 2011.
I enjoy all aspects of mixed animal care and have a particular interest in companion animal medicine.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and ever expanding collection of horses, chickens and sheep.
I enjoy many outdoor pursuits and am an avid fan of any sports.

Edward Pettifer BVM&S PGCert SAS MRCVS
I joined the End Cottage team in 2016. I qualified in 1998 from the University of Edinburgh and from there moved into mixed practice, enjoying a variation of farm and companion animal care.
Over the years I developed an interest in small animal surgery and am currently working towards a Post Graduate Certificate in this field.
When not at work I spend my time at home taking care of my own dogs, cats, sheep, chickens and horses.
I’ve a family to keep me busy and I enjoy fishing whenever time allows.

John Sleigh BVMS MRCVS

I have enjoyed an extensive career in mixed practice so far and have a special interest in companion animal surgery.
Away from the practice I’m a dedicated follower of sport and particularly enjoy watching my sons play rugby.
I am a keen outdoor enthusiast and can often be found skiing, mountaineering or playing golf.
My dog, Nellie, regularly takes him for walks.
