We know your pet can become ill or suffer accidents at any time. To make sure you have access to high quality care at night, weekends and bank holidays, our sister practice – Wicstun Vet Group provide out of hours care for our registered clients.

Please be aware that there will be an additional fee charged for this out of hours service.
This is an emergency service, so please only use it in an emergency situation.
Out of Hours at Wicstun Vets
The team at Wicstun Vets are always there when we are closed, so you can rest assured that you and your pet will have a vet and nurse on hand.
Their dedicated out of hours teams will provide advice over the phone and determine whether you need to take your pet into the hospital for immediate treatment. Please don’t hesitate to call them if you’re at all concerned.
By using Wicstun Vets to cover our Out of Hours Emergencies it enables our vets and nurses to get a good night’s rest at nights and weekends, so we can continue providing the high quality care during the day that we pride ourselves on.
Wicstun Vets take over from us when we close in the evenings and at the weekends from Saturday lunchtime onwards. It is always best to call us first as we will either be there to answer your call, or you can be transferred to Wicstun Vets.

If you are registered with another practice, please contact your own vet and use the out of hours provision they provide. Our emergency service is for clients already registered with End Cottage Veterinary Clinic.
If you have a new pet or are not registered with a vet, you will need to inform the emergency team when you call.
